It's been long overdue, I know, but finally I've created my first ALFContact video tutorial.
This first tutorial is just a basic walkthrough of installing ALFcontact on a Joomla! 3 site.
I hope to add more in the coming weeks, at least 2 more are planned: Adding your Contacts and a quick overview of the different options.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Today I release v3.1.7 of my ALFContact component.
The new release now has an option to force ReCaptcha to use the SSL connection in case it doesn't automatically recognize it.
Due popular demand I re-introduced the Custom CSS option. If for some reason the template doesn't properly use the Bootstrap you can now add some Custom CSS styles to finetune your form to better match the rest of your site.
Recently a security vulnerability (XSS) was discovered in ALFContact, today I have uploaded new releases which fixes this issue.
It is recommended that all users upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible.
Please go to the Download page for the latest releases.
Haven't had the time in the past year to really do the much needed work on the website as well as the component, however this weekend I did find the time to give the website the Joomla!3 upgrade as well as giving it a new, fresh look.
I hope to start working on ALFContact again real soon as there is enough on my wishlist thanks to all the feedback I keep getting.
Wishlist:
Released ALFContact v3.1.1 for J!3, a small update ion which the title, header and footer parameters have moved from the component settings to the menu-item settings.
This allows multi-lingual sites to translate these as well.
